Our verdict and review for the Head Delta Elite after testing the racket is that it is an awesome racket for the offensive player who is at a Beginner – Intermediate level. This racket also has a Diamond shape which gives you more offensive qualities.
Adidas new padel rackets are not only really aesthetically pleasing, they also have a really good quality. The price level is neither the lowest nor the highest compared to competitors.

Our opinion after testing the Head Delta Elite:
When I tested the Head Delta Elite 2022, I found it to be a slightly more playable rack with offensive qualities aimed at the exerciser who is looking for a more offensive choice of rack. When I tested this model, I felt that the racket had both good offensive and defensive characteristics and that it was easy to get to the ball despite the racket's offensive characteristics. The fiberglass surface also helps to put good speed on the ball without you having to put high speed on the ball yourself. A relatively easy to play offensive racket choice that targets a wide audience in my opinion.

Head Delta Elite characteristics
Below we review the Head Delta Elite and the racket’s features. In addition to the features, the racket is aesthetically beautiful with fine lines and nice coloring.
Rackets specifications | |
Brand | Head |
Shape | Diamond |
Balance | High |
Game type | Offensive |
Game Level | Beginner – Intermediate |
Weight | 360 – 375 g |
Material
Flexible materials such as Auxetic technology, which acts as a shock absorber and delivers more power to the balls. The Power Foam core also helps provide powerful power during the game, but gets a little softer feel in play with the fiberglass hitting surface.
The balance
The balance point is set high, making the racket even more impactful in the offensive game. This will make it easier when it is desired to shoot balls away with extra power and speed.
Racket shape
The racket has been provided with a diamond shape, which helps to give rigidity to the racket. Which gives it both more durability and better power in the strokes. This way, the player doesn’t have to use as much of their own strength in their strokes.
Hard or soft?
A very hard racket with the diamond shape, the high balance, the Power Foam core and the Auxetic technology that gives good speed and power in the player’s strokes. Even though the hitting surface is made of the softer fibreglass material, it still becomes more of a hard package.
What level of player is the Head Delta Elite suitable for?
A more experienced player will be able to make use of the racket’s strong features more easily during the offensive game. On the other hand, it may also be a good fit for the recreational player who wants to advance their offensive game. However, the fiberglass makes it not as strong for offensive play, as many advanced level players would like.
Is the racket best suited for offensive or defensive play?
There are several strong features of this racket that enhance the offensive game, even though the hitting surface of fiberglass is softer than carbon fiber. The diamond shape, high balance and hard core can be of great benefit to players who want to learn more techniques in the offensive game.
Information about the Adidas brand
When Head was founded in 1950 by Howard Head, it was mainly because he wanted to produce the metal skis that he had designed himself. The company got off to a slow start when it was launched, but eventually it took off.
The advantages of using metal in various accessories and aids were later applied to other sports as well. However, other advantages were also developed over the years and in 1968 production of rackets for tennis began. New technologies were developed and some were later inspired for rackets in the sport of padel.
