Information about the Head brand
Many people who hear the Head brand may think primarily of metal skis, as this was the first thing that founder Howard Head produced within the company. They were the first on the market with this type of ski and had to struggle a lot to get customers to understand its benefits.
When the first metal ski was launched was in 1950 and it took more than 18 years before the company also started to focus on producing rackets in tennis, which quite later also led on to rackets for the sport of padel.
Different technologies for tennis and padel rackets have emerged over the years. The most distinctive on today’s models is the Graphene 360+ technology, which gives their rackets better durability and resilience, while being able to return more power to the player. Whether he is more interested in a defensive or offensive game.

Advantages of the Head Zephyr UL 2022
A good racket with good characteristics for defensive play and for a more ergonomic game, thanks to a lighter weight of the racket and technologies that reduce vibrations in the racket. The rounded shape and a larger sweetspot give more chances to hit full shots, which is good for those who have not been playing for a long time. It will be easier for them to learn better technique in the game and with a soft core also gets relief in muscles and joints.
The combination of a soft core, round-shaped racket and a medium balance means that those who prefer to play offensively, in other words more explosively and aggressively, will certainly feel that this is not quite the right racket for them.
Our review for the Head Zephyr UL 2022
Mikael Rohana from Elitepadel has tested the Head Zephyr UL 2022 and gives the following review and rating:
“This model is by far the lightest model from Head and, like the other racks in the series, has its main features in the control of the game. Thanks to its light weight, I think it is a rack that is very suitable for the lady who is about to start playing or for the junior who wants to change up from her previous junior rack. Also this model has high control and very good feeling in the game.“.
