Material

The majority of the Adipower Junior 3.1 is made of fiberglass, but with the help of eXoskeleton and Structural Reinforcement technology, some parts of the racket have been reinforced with carbon fiber. This makes the racket slightly stiffer, but above all more durable.

The core is also of a softer nature – Eva Soft Performance. Which, among other things, will provide the player with a softer game.

The balance

The Adipower Junior 3.1 has a mid-level balance, along with a larger sweetspot. This makes this racket easier to handle, both in the swing and for getting in full shots.

Racket shape

Round shape, which makes it easier for younger players to learn how to hit the balls. At the same time, the racket has been fitted with materials that make it lighter, which makes it easier for them to swing the racket in the air when preparing full hits on the high balls.

Hard or soft?

The Adipower Junior 3.1 is a soft racket, which has been equipped with the softer fiberglass material on the hitting surface and the softer Eva Soft Performance core. The majority of the racket is fiberglass, which makes it both lighter and easier for younger players to handle.

The carbon-reinforced sections are mainly to provide the racket with better durability and longer life, which is particularly beneficial for younger players who may be more unaccustomed to handling a racket. Hence, also more risks of mis-hits or losing grip of the racket during play.

What level of player is the Adidas Adipower Junior 3.1 suitable for?

This model for the younger players may be suitable for beginners and up to intermediate level players. It is a racket that is easy to handle, but can also provide the player with a lot of support in defensive play. The features of this model are mainly to create better control during the game, but can also help with powerful hitting thanks to a large sweetspot.

Is the racket best suited for offensive or defensive play?

This racket has most of its strength in defensive play, thanks in part to its soft fiberglass hitting surface and soft core. It will provide a lot of support for the low penetrating balls. With a large sweetspot and a low weight of the racket, it also gives more chances for good control in the younger players’ padel game.

Benefits of Adidas Adipower Junior 3.1

It is a round-shaped racket with a large sweet spot that helps the player to create more control in the hits, which gives more fluidity in the game and encourages the player to continue developing. With the racket’s light weight and soft material, it becomes ergonomic and easy to handle for the player. Their grip on the racket becomes more stable with the help of the carbon-reinforced sections, among above the handle.

Disadvantages

Although the racket is easier to swing in the air, it can be more difficult to handle for more defensive play. If the player wants to learn more techniques for high balls, they may feel limited with this racket in some situations.
