Adidas Adipower CTRL 3.1

The Adipower Control, as the name suggests, is a racket designed for the skilled player who demands control above all else, without sacrificing good speed in the strokes. It has a stiff frame, a stiff core, and a stiff hitting surface which means really good power as long as you hit hard, in other words, you need to follow through with the strokes properly with power and speed when using a hard racket like this.
The frame is made of carbon fiber and features a Dual eXoskeleton for extra stability and Power Embossed Ridge. The core is made of hard EVA foam that quickly regains its shape after a hit, giving the ball an extra boost. The hitting surface is made of aluminum-reinforced carbon fiber with a sandpaper-like surface layer for best impact.

Adidas Adipower CTRL Lite 3.1

This is WPT star Martita Ortega’s racket, a lighter and slightly softer version of the Adipower CTRL which, thanks to its lightweight, is responsive and easy to handle even when moving quickly. The same technology has been used – a Dual eXoskelton frame, which is a special design of the frame at the racket neck developed to achieve a faster swing and Power Embossed Ridge. The differences are that a softer EVA foam has been chosen for the core, and as the hitting surface is also made of softer fiberglass, this is a much more forgiving version that suits a wider audience. This also has a rough surface layer for better spin on the ball.
Adidas Adipower Woman Lite 3.1

About Adidas
In the 1920s, the brothers Adolf “Adi” and Rudolf Dassler were active as shoe manufacturers in Germany. Their shoes quickly became popular among professional athletes, and several 1928-36 Olympic medallists wore them during their races. After the war, the brothers decided to go their separate ways, with Rudolf starting his own company Puma and Adi merging the first three letters of his nickname with his surname to create Adidas Sportskofabrik. The year was 1948. Alejandro Galán is today the biggest sponsored player in WPT for Adidas.
History
Adi Dassler was behind the invention of screw caps for football boots. The ability to change the studs depending on weather conditions was a great advantage for West Germany in the 1954 World Cup, which they later won, and this was a major international breakthrough for the company.
Today, Adidas is a giant in the world market, with shoes as well as clothing and accessories for virtually every sport there is. They launched their first padel collection in 2014 and now have a huge range of rackets, shoes, bags, clothing, and much more. Famous poster names include Alejandro Galán, current WPT world champion, legend Seba Nerone and women’s star Martita Ortega.
