Material

This luxurious racket from Nox has been fitted with 18K carbon fibre on the hitting surface, which means there are 18,000 carbon fibre threads per cm². The more threads, the faster the hitting surface can react to fire balls away quickly. The core chosen is the HR3 Core Black, which can contribute proper speed and power to the balls as it is extra stiff and has fast reactivity.

The balance

A mid-level balance point can provide sufficient support for the player in both his offensive and defensive play. It is not too low placed to not provide the player with strength for powerful balls and it is not too high placed to not provide good support for the low balls.

Racket shape

The drop shape gives some stiffness to the racket, without too much of a dent in the size of the sweetspot. So it’s easier to hit good balls and get some extra strength in the racket at the same time.

Hard or soft?

Although it is a form of all-round racket, it can be interpreted as a hard racket. The hitting surface and the core are fast, hard and more or less explosive. They react quickly and provide balls with proper speed and power. Two strong characteristics that are the hallmarks of this racket.

What level of player is the Nox AT10 Genius 18k by Tapia Limited Edition suitable for

What level of player is the Nox AT10 Genius 18k by Tapia Limited Edition suitable for?

This luxurious racket from Nox is aimed directly at players at the advanced or professional level of play. It is aimed at a player who needs unique features in their padel game. The drop-shaped racket and the very hard and fast factors in the hitting surface and core also require more strength and experience from the player.

Is the racket best suited for offensive or defensive play?

An all-round racket with hard hitting surface and core characteristics, which make it very powerful in offensive play. Although, it is not a high balance point. Hitting surface in 18K carbon fiber is much more powerful than many others and here in combination with a luxurious hard core.

Benefits of Nox AT10 Genius 18k by Tapia Limited Edition

The drop shape and the medium level of balance make this racket a bit easier to handle, as it has very hard characteristics in the hitting surface and core. However, there are also rubber parts strategically placed to dampen vibrations from the hard ball hits.

A longer grip, so it’s suitable for different types of people. Different sized hands and to provide more support for those who like a two-handed grip. And the hitting surface is a bit rough among other things from a large logo of Nox and because the rest is similar to sandpaper.

Disadvantages

It can be very difficult for lower level players to handle this racket, as it is a powerful padel racket. Thus, it can also be challenging to use this to one’s advantage in a defensive game. With all the luxuries on this model, it also becomes quite costly.
