Material

The frame material consists of fiberglass and carbon fiber, which gives the racket a combination of better durability and a softer, flexible character. The hitting surface is made of 3K carbon fiber and with the core Eva Soft Power, so the racket is softer to play with and returns better control when hitting the ball.

In addition, the racket has a rubber surface that prevents the balls from making direct contact with the carbon fiber surface. This minimizes vibrations and makes the racket more ergonomic for the player.

The balance

The balance point is placed at mid-level and in combination with the chosen racket shape, round and drop-shaped, a larger hitting area is achieved, and the balance point can provide assistance in many positions in the game. This makes it easier for players to succeed with ball hits of both power and control.

Racket shape

The DoPadel Libra has a hybrid racket shape of round and drop, which together with a medium balance makes the racket easier to control for players of different levels. Even beginners can benefit from this racket model, as it is also a soft racket.

Hard or soft?

With features like the chosen core Eva Soft Power, hitting surface in 3K carbon fiber and the racket shape round and drop shape make the racket of softer character. The main focus with this racket is balance and control. The frame in both carbon fiber and fiberglass also provides the player with a more controlled and balanced padel game, while the frame provides more durability to the racket.

What level of player is the DoPadel Libra suitable for?

This racket model is designed to be suitable for players of different playing levels. It is a durable racket with fiberglass and carbon fiber in the frame, and with a softer 3K carbon fiber hitting surface. The rubber surface also helps to minimize vibration when hitting the ball.

With the soft characteristics of the racket, many beginners or players who do not have strong muscles and joints can get good use out of this model. It is easier to handle in the swings, and it has several features that make it more ergonomic. This can also benefit players at a more advanced level of play, who like defensive play.

Is the racket best suited for offensive or defensive play?

The DoPadel Libra is an all-round racket, but it may be more beneficial for a defensive game. The combination of a softer core, 3K carbon fiber hitting surface, medium balance and the racket model’s hybrid shape of round and drop shape gives the player more help for defensive play. Although, the medium balance and rubber surface can provide good help for getting away powerful balls or balls with little spin.

Information about the DoPadel brand

DoPadel is a new brand, founded in 2021. Their handmade racket models have a Scandinavian design, but manufacturing takes place in one of Spain’s best factories. They focus on high quality, including some unique features that are trademarked. DoPadel also offers padel coaching and padel training to their customers.

One of these features is that the holes on the hitting surface have been placed in a unique way. There are no holes in the middle of the racket, so it doesn’t soften in the middle and therefore gives the same feel across the entire hitting surface.

All models have been fitted with a rubber surface, which provides good support for spinning to the balls. This rubber surface also helps to minimize vibration when hitting the ball, as the ball does not make direct contact with the carbon fiber surface.

Benefits of DoPadel Libra

The DoPadel Libra has several advantages, especially for those players who are looking for a racket that is softer to play with. A softer core and hitting surface, combined with a medium balance, provides the player with a smooth and controlled game. This makes the racket suitable for players of different playing levels, from beginners to more advanced levels.

The frame’s material has a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass, which makes it both more durable and provides the player with a smoother game. The softer hitting surface of 3K carbon fiber provides good support in defensive play. The rubber surface of the racket dampens vibrations when hitting the ball and also provides good support when the player wants to spin the balls for his opponents.

The way the holes on the hitting surface have been drilled provides a smoother feel for the player, as there are no holes in the middle and thus there are no softer hits there. This allows the sweetspot to be perceived as larger and therefore the chance of more successful full hits.

Disadvantages

Libra is the softest model from DoPadel and to use this racket in offensive play, extra power and experience may be needed from the player. Although the rubber surface and a medium balance can help in offensive play, a more experienced player may be needed to get the most power out of the racket.
